During the semester prior to the graduation semester, you must meet with your advisor to complete the degree petition, which notifies the registrar that you are preparing to graduate. Specific deadlines for completing the degree petition will be set each semester and emailed via the School of Economics’ listserves. In general, petitions for Summer and Fall will be due March 1st and Petitions for Spring will be due October 15th.

When you meet with your advisor you will need to bring:

1. Petition to Graduate
   • Undergraduate Petition
   • Graduate Petition
2. CAPP Report
   • Go to OSCAR
   • Select "Secured Access Login"
   • Select "Student Services and Financial Aid"
   • Select "Student Records"
   • Select "CAPP - Advisement and Degree Audit"
3. Transcript
   • Go to OSCAR
   • Select "Secured Access Login"
   • Select "Student Services and Financial Aid"
   • Select "Student Records"
   • Select "Unofficial Transcript"
4. Exit Interview
