Dr. Byung Cheol Kim obtained his Ph.D. in Economics from Michigan State University in 2007. He served as a visiting assistant professor in the Department of Economics and as an adjunct professor in College of Law, both at Michigan State University. His main research fields are Industrial Organization and Applied Microeconomics. His recent research topics include customer information sharing between firms, network neutrality and investment incentives, learning and signaling through a preliminary injunction, tying arrangement in complementary products, and exclusive contracts in the health insurance market.
