Dr. Usha C. Nair-Reichert holds a PhD in Economics from Purdue University. She teaches courses in international economics and operations of multinational enterprises in the School of Economics. Her research interests are in the areas of trade policy, intellectual property rights, multinational investments, monetary policy and economic development. She has also worked with several community outreach projects focusing on issues such as poverty, health care and education. In fall, 2011, she began serving as Interim Chair of the School of Economics.
