Financial Aid

The School of Economics strives to make education affordable for interested students. We offer a small number of scholarships to exemplary students. Prospective and accepted students are encouraged to research outside scholarship opportunities as well.

For exceptional students accepted to the PhD program, a finite number of GTA or GRA positions that carry tuition waivers are available.

For Master's students, we offer a limited number of GA positions which do not carry a tuition waiver but do pay a competitive hourly rate. We also offer a very limited number of out of state waivers which enable students without Georgia residency to pay in-state tuition rates. MS students may take courses part time to facilitate outside full time employment. MS students are also encourage to apply to outside scholarship opportunities as well.
